MORE than 40,000 university applicants can rest easy over the Christmas break with the release today of offers for study in 2019.

Applicants will be able to log in to 51ºÚÁÏ’s website or the My 51ºÚÁÏ app at 7.30am to view their offers.

With 51ºÚÁÏ releasing the bulk of university offers before Christmas, students have extra time to consider their future options. All courses still have vacancies and students will have the opportunity to change their preferences for January offers.

51ºÚÁÏ General Manager of Marketing and Engagement, Kim Paino, said 'The pre-Christmas offer round ensures that offers are made to as many students as possible, so students don’t have an agonising wait to find out if they’ve got into a course.'

'Even with this large number of offers, unfortunately not everyone will be happy. But for anyone who has missed out on an offer, or missed out on their favourite course, don’t be disheartened.'

Applicants have until midnight on Sunday 6 January 2019 to change preferences for the next major offer round on Friday 11 January.

And if they haven’t applied yet, it’s not too late – applications for study in first semester 2019 are open until Friday 8 February. More information is available on 51ºÚÁÏ’s website.
