Strong demand for university study in 2025
APPLICATION statistics released today by the 51ºÚÁÏ (51ºÚÁÏ) reveal strong demand for university study in 2025, particularly among Year 12 students.
As of 30 November, 69,484* applications had been submitted through 51ºÚÁÏ. This includes 40,618 NSW HSC students who have received their ATAR and are waiting on the release of university offers on Monday 23 December.
To maximise their chances of receiving an offer, many Year 12 students have also applied directly to individual universities for study next year. 51ºÚÁÏ has processed an additional 106,967^ of these direct applications on behalf of various institutions.#
Applications for first semester 2025 are still open until Friday 7 February 2025.
